Edmonton River Valley Trail Clean Up supporting Protect Our Winters (POW)
Banded Peak Trail Keepers
Join the Banded Peak Trail Keepers and Protect Our Winters for a clean-up event in the Edmonton River Valley! The goal of this event is to preserve and protect our local trails, ensuring the natural beauty and scenery remain intact for years to come.
The clean-up event is free, with an option to donate to Protect Our Winters. We'll be providing all the necessary trail clean-up kits and safety equipment to make sure you're fully equipped for the task.
Once the event is done, we'll be hosting a post-clean-up social with Banded Peak samples and a BBQ provided by POW. It's a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, swap outdoor tales, and enjoy some scrumptious BBQ food and drinks.
Registration:
- Tickets are time selected to allow pick up for the kits - ticket time is your start time.
- 1 ticket per volunteer. Example volunteer group of 4 - register 4 tickets.
What to bring with you:
- Water bottle
- Light snack
- Wear solid sole shoes
- Garbage grabber or picker if you have one
- Dress for the weather ( ight jacket, hat, sunscreen, bug spray)
Kits include:
- 2 pairs of disposable gloves
- Garbage bags, recycling bags
Where to pick up your kits and drop off trail clean-up bags:
- Banded Peak Brewing branded tent will be set up at Site 2(starting point here you will register and pick up your kits.)
- You can choose which direction to head to for the trail clean-up.
- Once completed head back to Site 2 and leave the collected bags with a Banded Peak or POW team member. Enjoy the post-clean-up Social & BBQ.
** Volunteers must be 18 years of age and old to participate.
